We didn't only visit the Grand Canyon we went on a hike. It was phenomenal (the sights anyways). We hiked down about 2000 feet from 80 degrees to 91 degrees in four hours, Brian's was feeling his age and so was Warren, he wouldn't admit it and Ranger Wayne was going strong. I suffered, I ended up with 7 blisters, so much for my good hiking shoes, I guess I need to break those in. The hike ended and we headed for the ice cream shop, then to the
motor home for burgers, pasta, potato salad and every bit of
food available. Warren and Megan made everything better when we found they had a ice chest full of "devils juice" (soda). A cold Pepsi tasted better than ever.
Thanks Dad for a great time and memories to last forever, I will be working hard just for you so I can do the rim to rim hike (everyone please start praying now).
